How can I log in with my old username info after reinstalling the game?

I originally installed the game on my ipod, but didn't use it that much and deleted it.  I recently reinstalled it, but would like to use my previous username and email address.  However, when I go to Account Settings and try to change it from the username given me, it says the username and email are already being used.  How can I bring up my old username and email address for my newly reinstalled program?
