Why is LATIN not a word in the wwf dictionary?

0 votes
My opponent played the word "LATI" and I tried to add an "N" to it to spell "LATIN" and that was not an acceptable word.  Of all things, shouldn't "LATIN" where most words come from in the first place be in the WWF dictionary?

LATIN is most likely not acceptable because it is a word that is typically capitalized, as in Latin America.  LATINA and LATINO are typically uncapitalized when used to refer to someone of Hispanic origin.  On the other hand, ENGLISH is acceptable because it is also a slang term used in pool or billiards and FRENCH is acceptable because it is a cooking term used in foods like french toast and french fries.

In American English we call words that are typically capitalized, "Proper Nouns."
That's too much rubbish to explain why the word Latin it's not acceptable. Latin it's a word like it or not. It's like the mother word of many language, so could you find a way to include this word? Please!!! I've been playing this game for quite some time now, and it's very offensive not to be able to use this word, while dirty words are allowed.
No one said Latin isn't a word. It's just that it's a proper noun and proper nouns are invalid.
