Suggestion about inactivating players

0 votes
The rules of the daily game are that you have a minimum of 48 hours to report results; if you don't you are de-activated. My suggestion is that by logging in and reporting the game "in progress" it should stop you from being de-activated even though it isn't technically reporting a result. If only one player logs in then that player will stay in the tournament. If both players log jn they will both stay in the tournament and be assigned new opponents for the next day's game. I'm making this suggestion because I have been paired with players who are sometimes very slow to play. The problem is that we both end up being de-activated and then by the time our game is finished we both re-join the tournament only to be paired again because we're among the last batch of people joining in (hope you can follow that). So the cycle continues. This has happened to me several times already this month. Thank you for your time.

If you mark each open game as “In Progress” you should not be deactivated. When you finish the game send the results here to have it updated.
