Time ran out victory rules.

0 votes
There are certain players who play slow as molasses, then if they are ahead at the end of the 3-day period to post scores, they claim a time ran out victory. This is infuriating to their opponent, myself anyway, because you get an “incomplete” next to your name when it’s the other player who has been dragging the game out. Is this legal for them to do? They never notify the opponent before they do this, which is contrary to the daily rules. If time runs out, I’ll generally just finish the game and if I win send you a request to update the scores. Apparently these players can’t be bothered to do that. If I’m behind in a game at the end of day 3, but my opponent has played 2 words a day and I have screenshots, is it legal for me to post a time ran out victory even though I’m behind? Seems fair enough to me, the rules say you are to play in a timely fashion. Case in point, see my game 17 of this month’s daily. Perhaps this player should be warned about this type of behavior. Just sayin’.

Yes, if your opponent is slow, go ahead and post a victory due to time ran out before the three day deadline.
