Play username! Start a game with username now?

Question

when I open the app I get a pop up that says Play ____ ! Start a game with _____ now? and the options yes no

this is somebody i played with over a year ago

 

Is this an invitation by them or did the server just generate it? I noticed once that when I do tap yes it's usually my turn first...

They're generated by the WWF app; they're not invitations initiated by the user. I wish there was a way to turn them off.

Zynga has added a lot of "features" that nobody seems to like.  Do they even bother to talk to users first?
